Do these still work because ive just put some of these display ids into wow v and when you press on vies in 3d nothing shows up???

You don't have to do any DBC editing at all for these changes to take effect.

1. Go to Item_template in world heidisql
2. Change the displayID of the item
3. Open world server configs and change to;

# DBC.EnforceItemAttributes
# Description: Disallow overriding item attributes stored in DBC files with values from the
# database.
# Default: 1 - (Enabled, Enforce DBC values)
# 0 - (Disabled, Use database values)

DBC.EnforceItemAttributes = 0
